I have a 2017 w205 c300 RWD that was involved in an accident and got repaired. I'm trying to do an oil change now for first time since ive had the car but the underside oil pan doesnt look like anything i see online. Can someone help out, is this the right setup for this car? Would the drain plug be the one circled in red? (See pic)
There's a much easier way to change the oil. I've been using a hand operated vacuum extractor pump from OEM Tools (24937 1.5 gallon pneumatic fluid extractor) No jacking up the car. No removing shields or removing the drain plug and replacing the brass plug bushing.
Open the hood, remove the oil filler cap, insert the tube and slowly operate the pump. There are multiple threads on this so search the forum.

Yes I have one of these but don’t use it.The reason for this is I used the pump to remove the oil and checked no oil was still coming out before disconnecting (I have the compressed air version but works the same)
I then removed the sump plug and a further Litre of oil came out.if my calculations are correct 1.5 US gallons is 5.6 litres the sump capacity is 6.5 litres so probably the same amount remains in your engine
