Electronic Selector Module

Guys I've been searching the webs for my issue. Last night I got an engine light. Actually my wife did. I have the Dinatronics installed. I have it set to Race mode since about 5 days with 94 octane. I removed the module this morning since I made an appointment with Merceds. i'm still in warranty believe it or not. I used an icarsoft i980 (which doesn't even have my model in the system and no updates) into the OBDII port and got the Electronic Selector module (drive select CAN BUS error).

I took the baby out for some groceries and sure enough the light went away. What tips could you give me ? I want to go into the dealer with some knowledge. Also I noticed some 'spew over' on the coolant reservoir and an 'oil looking spot' on the intake port. Just want to be ready. I wrench a lot and want to make sure the dealer doesn't think they can screw me over. So to say.

Thanks in advance

A gaggle of MB's
This what I understand:

1. For 5 days you have run thru a tank of 94
2. Using the Dynatronics piggy-back from "Dinan"
3. You got a CEL
4. You disconnected the Dynatronics module prior to going into dealer service
5. After disconnecting/removing the "Dinan" - the light went away

Don't you think you identified the problem - 94 Octane & Dinan apparently trigged the CEL - so what is your Issue ?

What does the electronic module do ? I figure that ya I have pin pointed what triggered the CEL , but why was it triggered ?

I haven't had an issue with the Dinan for over about a year or so. Just wondering what the specific cause was. Now I lost the great throttle respond I had with the piggyback.

Have you updated your icarsoft i980 recently?

Funny you say that. So my model c450 (W205 ) doesn't show up on the i980. I tried to update through the website and the i980doesn't even show up as an update option. Definitely using wrong equipment.

Turned out to be a Boost sensor actually. I can't find any info on boost sensors . I just really liked how the performance was overall with the module.

Will a tune affect me the same way ?
