Audio system upgrade
Base audio 20. Thinking of replacing 6.5 front bass with 2- 8” front bass units from aftermarket. Is this possible? Does the c300 have a cavity on the drivers side? No problem in custom fabrication. Currently have dynaudio tweets and audison mids run by xtant 3150c.

Yes the driver's side does have a cavity as well, upgrading the woofers and driving them with an aftermarket amp is a worthwhile investment.
Just be mindful of the fact that RHD and LHD have different fittings for some strange reason.
Custom fabrication would probably be your best but Audiotec Fischer does a plug and play set (Match series), so does Eton, Gladen and Rainbow iirc.

Those certainly appear beefy enough but I don't think there is enough depth in the original holes.
Right now I'm using the original Burmester woofers which I got for cheap (also Audio20 here) and driving them with 160w @ 2 ohms which is very respectable in terms of the kick but they do soft clip at 100% power.
I'm definitely not dismantling my footwell carpet and glovebox/accelerator pedal in this weather but from when I did it, eyeballing it, you might be able to just about fit 65mm in there, maybe 80mm if you get rid of the original foam cover.
I'd just dismantle it yourself Snkbitn and measure it properly before buying any gear.
