Delay in vent air

Hi everyone,

It might just be normal, but when I turn on the heat/ac as soon as I start the car on my 2016 C300, I’m getting no air until about 2-3 minutes in. I can hear what sounds like a flap opening after the initial waiting and it stars blowing. This happens on all settings, high and low, but after a few minutes everything seems fine.

Thanks!

I think this is normal. I’m on my second C300 and this is how they have all acted. As far as I know the HVAC system goes through a large number of both HVAC checks and supporting system checks before it starts.
