Dual exhaust on C300

Dual exhaust on C300
Hi all!
I'm a MB driver since 2016. Recently I purchased a 2016 C300 coupe, AMG line.
There is one thing its driving me nuts... This car has 2 exhaust pipes at the end of exhaust system. Each pipe has its own muffler. I just noticed, that when the car is idling, the left pipe is closed. Only when you put it into Sport+ and press the gas pedal, the left pipe opens.
There is even some "beep" sound, when this happens and you can hear a "click" in some valve at the back. Did anybody else notice it?
Is there any way, to remove this "function"? I would like to have both pipes to be active all the time. I know, it could be designed this way, because of faster warming up, but still. It looks pretty dumb, when the car has two pipes (especially with sport diffusor with dual tips) , but only one is producing a smoke...
