Occasional clunk in steering when cornering at low speed
There seems to be some corners/junctions that I can predict when it will occur - these are often when corning occurs under a greater load - when breaking into the corner, or a downhill gradient. Equally when having loaded a corner, unloading it can also seen to cause the telltale steering clunk (or perhaps it's just random and I'm trying to imagine a pattern).
I've had new tyres all round recently, and at the same time had both lower control arms replaced (drivers side creak). I was hoping that replacing these would solve this issue too, but it still remains. My local indy had a look underneath whilst swapping the arms, but found nothing suspect.
Has anybody else experienced this or have any pointers as to where would be a good place to look? Other than this the steering is perfect - nice and straight and feels planted, and absolutely love the car otherwise
