See photo for cut/crack in the cushion of the drivers seat. My car has CPO warranty, but is out of factory warranty.

Plus it looks like there are a few more of the same starting. What can I do to prevent this from getting worse?

Real leather is the answer. It is rare in the C class. I have a 2017 C300 with beige leather and P 4 package. They are hard to find. My friend's GLK 250 had the same issue. Dealer paid for half but it took a letter to corporate first.

I have a tear in the same exact spot. Mine is harder to see due to black color.
It’s been the same size for years and hasn’t gotten bigger.
