Subwoofer amp install

Hello this is my first forum question and i got no other resource to get answer to my issue but any input is appreciated thanks in advance..
I’m installing sub and amp to my 2015 C300, and I tapped wires to the 2 speakers on the top back seat to the rca to high level inputs of the amp, btw it’s a Kicker dx250, but no sound on subwoofer, i used another source to the rca input and then sound came out, i looked at YouTube and the stock radio doesn’t have rca preamp out, so i used that speaker to tap, so i don’t know why it didn’t work, does anyone got advice what to use to connect to amp input, thanks

I Did the same thing initially, but my amp wouldn't consistently turn on. I ended up purchasing a line level converter which had a remote wire output. Amp and sub work fine now with factory audio 20 system

Subwoofer is wired in pair through front left positive and front right negative pair on the original connector so that's probably why it didn't work.

So I bought a line level converter and still didn’t got any sound output, I removed the converter, so i ended up tapping line to left and right door speaker, sounds came out but the loudness is not that great as I thought it should, i did some adjustments but it didn’t do as loud or boomy as expected
Btw mine is Burmester sound, does it have something to do with it?

I just did mine yesterday

I followed this as he was the only one who posted the colors for the wires to tap into.
I used an LOC instead of the gadget he used and tapped into fuse 447 i think which is the 12v rear - switched
