PURCHASING ADVICE: 2017 C350E
I put a down payment on a 2017 C350E yesterday.. I do intend on purchasing.
I reviewed there service records and carfax and I'm kinda alarmed how many CEL went off on this car.
It's a high mileage car but I plan to own anywhere from 2-4 years as our secondary vehicle.
Is there anything I should know about this car before purchasing it?

I did a lot of homework on the car as far as what options it has.. but I don't think the owner includes a window sticker. Is there anyway I can get a dealer printout of sorts?

So let me say that I love me 2016 C350e, purchased used with with 23k. Your car looks like it’s very well equipped, but I would encourage an extended warranty.
I don’t have one and my car has been relatively trouble free...but I still worry. The M274 engine seems solid, and my battery is performing well. I had to change plugs at 23k
because they were worn...and I am running some fuel system cleaner in prep for my next oil change...but the car is smooth and my mpg without running electric is about 33-35, and with electric it’s about 40+, not including home charging...I hear there are a couple of CEL issues, but I have not seen any. I purchased mine from fletcher Jones Newport Beach and would buying it again...it would recommend the warranty for piece of mind. Feel free to DM me for any questions.

No comment on the car, but Fletcher Jones is a highly-regarded dealership (and probably one of the biggest in the country), so I'd guess that they'd only sell a quality product and if it didn't meet their standards it'd go off to auction and not on their lot. Definitely second the extra cost for the CPO route. My last four MBs have each had $3,800-$5,500 repairs JUST out of warranty between 55-75k miles: pano roof $3,800, transmission $4,200, balance shaft $5,500, transmission (fought MB and they paid). Each immaculately maintained per MB specs. Now I only keep them for 3 years.
