Weird Noise from Engine
Has anyone had this weird ticking noise come from their engine bay? I can’t tell where it’s coming from. Hoping someone can help before sending to the dealer.
It’s a 2016 C300.

Interesting noise. It's definitely external (I.e. not inside the engine) and it's a rattling sound...like something is loose and flapping around. Is it front, side, or rear, of the engine?

I agree, that's what I thought when I heard it. I've heard it once before and it's intermittent. It's near the front of the engine near the air filter housing. May have to take a deeper look into it later today to see if it's just something in the air filer housing.
