Bluetooth audio problem, car says not connected, phone says connected for calls and a
My cars bluetooth works fine with my phone making and recieving calls. However when I try to connect it to play audio from my phone (amazon music and iTunes both tried) it says that no device is connected.
The car says that it is connected in its audio devices list, and the phone says connected for calls and audio. But on the main media screen it says "no Bluetooth audio device connected".
The phones speakers don't play the music, so it is connected somewhere, but it is as if the car just doesn't recognise it.
I have tried resetting the cars media, clearing the phone cache, disconnecting and re-connecting both, making sure nothing is plugged into the phone, connecting the phone to both the cars phone and audio sections separately.
I'm not sure if its related but the USB port won't recognise devices and play music either.
I'm assuming that the middle screen simply acts as a monitor, so all I can think is that there may be a loose connection somewhere or that there is a problem with the cars radio/satnav unit which sits behind the centre console controls?
