Hole under steering column or missing cover?

Question Hole under steering column or missing cover?
Hi guys, so i just purchased W205 2018 C300 4matic coming from W204. Now when in my W204 when i look under the steering column there is a leather cover that covers metal column mechanism, but when i looked in my W205 there is nothing covering it, i can see the whole steering mechanism and what i would like to ask if it is like that stock or am i missing a cover?

I've attached a couple pictures to show what i mean.

C200 estate 2019 AMG line premium plus.
Have a look at a similar one on a dealers lot, that will answer your question.

I own a 2016, just checked looks exactly like your picture. No covering.
