Hi All! I'm trying to replace the stock front star to a illuminated star on my 2019 C300 4matic.
The "twist star counter clockwise" is not working for me. I do not have the distronic plus option.
The star i have is like this one imaged.
Hmm, not sure if they changed the mounting on the 2019 facelift. I'm not sure why they would need to re-invent such a thing that worked before (?)... so yours could possibly be different. But on my 2015 at least, rotating it counter-clockwise removes it. It did take a bit of "oomph" to get it to initially rotate though.

Thanks ill try again. I just didn't want to put too much force into it.
I noticed its a different star. Its not the hollow type star that I see in all the videos and instructions I found online. So thought maybe they changed how these things get removed/installed.
