Question Can you convert C350-E to LPG?

Hello everyone! This is my first thread, as a newb I only ask that you show some mercy if I say something inaccurate

Now, I'm looking to make a massive upgrade from my W203, to W205 Plugin Hybrid. My question is, can I convert the engine of this spec into a LPG engine? Massive thanks in advance, all answers are welcomed ❤

I know people will start jumping at the fact it's a hybrid so why would you want to convert it to LPG in the first place etc. but the real question in terms of feasibility is where would you even fit the tank for it? All the space has been taken up by the battery so unless you want to be left with no boot whatsoever it's a no-go.

Thank you very much for your reply!

This will be a car that I will drive from and to work, boot space is not necessary at all, my girlfriend owns an ML350 SUV for long-haul trips so we're all set on that. I want to convert it to LPG due to fuel prices in my home country, where Gasoline would cost 1.6 per Liter, and LPG €.45 per Liter which is 3 times the amount.

You're probably better off with a different car then, I can't imagine the havoc this would cause with the ECUs and everything else in the car that's actually a hybrid with its petrol engine running at the top end of what it can run.
You could possibly do it but would need to ask an experienced shop if the LPG ECU would play well with the original one considering it's a hybrid (I've seen it done, the results are never as good as they're supposed to be) and if a tank that would fit the boot is available.
Have you considered a diesel? They're fairly economical and even more so with a simple tune and definitely a lot less faffing about than an LPG conversion.

Thanks again, I'll get in touch with someone and let you know what I'll end up doing.

There are plenty of benz diesel. Cheaper to buy just buy a car with diesel motor.

with enough money you can convert it to anything you want. Nuclear fusion, hovercraft ….. just about anything.
