Glass Star Installed - Distronic Stop Working

Hello everyone,
I installed the a new Glass Star that I got of eBay and looks like it was from China but had all the numbers on it but not that little circle on that back of it. I'm not sure what that little circle has to do with anything but when I installed the new Glass Star I didn't notice anything until about 2 days ago when I noticed my Distronic Plus stopped working while I was driving. I turned my car off and it all came back but then 10 minutes or so it would go away. I was thinking it maybe the Glass Star however I get no error codes except when I go into the Menu I see that I have the Radar clicked on but I have not Distronic, Cruise Control or the Auto breaking features.

I'm not sure if the Star which is the exact same would interfere with the radar however has anyone else had this problem after installed the Glass Star on any aftermarket grills?

The distronic sensor is calibrated and needs a specific material (that the OEM star is made of) to work through it.
You might be lucky and it just needs to be re-calibrated with Xentry but I wouldn't hold to much hope on that and just put the original star on or buy OEM replacement.

I will see what I can do but right now the star can't be removed but I guess I'm gonna have to see if there is anything I can do. I did order the MB-II to see if this will help find out what is really going on with the module.
