Front Diff Seals

I have a 2015 c300 4matic and took it to the dealer for a service recall related to Power Steering. They mentioned that my front diff seals were leaking at the passenger side and pinion seal.

I have successfully replaced the front passenger side seal with a new one and looking to get some help on the pinion seal. More specifically, if someone has a repair manual they can share of if you have done this before, that would be greatly appreciated. The seal in question is pictured. I found another thread with some hint: https://mbworld.org/forums/cls-coupe...tial-leak.html

A few things I am interested in knowing:
- In the process of taking out seals, nuts and bolts is there anything that is one time use only and has to be replaced with a new item?
- How do you drain and fill the diff fluid? My understanding is there is no fill plug, only drain.
- What do I need to do to separate out the front propshaft? If I only do bolts on #120 I fear it wont be enough to get propshaft out of the way.

The car completed 100K KMs a few months ago and given its more than >4 years old I dont think its covered. Isn't it 4 years or 80K Kms whichever comes first?

yea I would love to know someone in Benz Service Dept who can help with manuals and stuff. I believe I am capable of handling this kind of work and just like to be prepared before I starting taking things apart.

Update

Updating the thread in case anyone runs into the same job.

I ended up just going piece by piece, removing obstructions etc as I approached the pinion seal. There were some things I removed which were needed and then some that helped with completing the service. Since I completed this 2 months ago, I will list them down to the best of my memory

- Removed under carriage shields
- Unhooked exhaust v-band from down pipe
- Unhooked exhaust hangers in the middle (left rears untouched)
- Removed propshaft for front differential
- Drain diff fluid

Then I went to the top and removed the turbo with downpipe. It made things like propshaft, diff cover and seals easy to remove and gave tons of access to loosen and tighten everything down. If I ever do this again, I am definitely starting with removing the turbo first as that lets a lot of light in and makes for loosening top bolts of propshaft and diff cover a lot easier.

After removing the propshaft, I wiggled it, pushed, shoved it out of the way without causing any damage to the shaft or the diff and it was possible because exhaust was not in the way.

Here is a screenshot of where the propshaft connects.

I thought the locking nut would be difficult to take out, but in fact was lot easier. I just undid it using impact gun and the little notch lifted on its own and come loose.

I have to confirm but i believe the socket used was 1 1/16" 12 point.

Everything comes lose after this point and you can replace the seal and go reverse for bolting everything back together.

I spent a lot of time figuring out what to remove, what sockets to use, thinking about turbo removal and if I were to do it again under the car (no hoist) I would probably take an entire day or a weekend to do this job.
