3d printed dashboard mount for wireless charger

Hi all,
Thought you might appreciate this on here, I designed and printed a RAM ball mount for a wireless charger on the dash of the W205.
Hooks over the infotainment screen and rests on the housing for the dash dials. Keept the phone clear of the screen, controls and vents.
Available for free at the link below for anyone who is interested.

Finished design

Mounted

With charger attatched.

This is awesome. you sir are a hero.

please note to all: this should not be printed with common plastic used with 3d printers (PLA) and instead should be made out of ABS or ASA plastic.

if not the holder will sag and deform inside the hot car.

Not a problem, as requested I have remixed the design for a left hand drive, it is all in the same link above, there is now a file for the 'LHD' variant.
I assume the measurements etc are the same, just reversed so I have just mirrored the design. If it needs any fine tuning let me know and I can modify it as needed.

Right you are. PLA can indeed warp in hotter climates as the heat builds in the car so ABS is definitley reccomended where possible. The one shown here is PLA (purely for the fact I didnt have and ABS handy!) And it has held up ok over the last couple of days in the UK 'heatwave' but I appreciate that other places are significantly hotter than the UK for the vast majority of the time. I will be making a 'final' version myself in ABS when I get around to ordering more.
