Just wondering where does the other end of the battery vent tube goes.
I was replacing the battery and must have yanked on the vent tube and made it loose. Have plugged it in on battery end, but where should the other end be fitted to?

It's there when you have sealed lead acid battery leak and it will have place to go, usually down near bottom engine cover. Also vent out gas in cases of AGM when they reacts to something and fail internally.
For anyone interested, there's hole next to the drain for the tube. It looks blocked off but I have confirmed it is free breathing by blowing air into it.
P.S. When changing battery for god sake please dont let the retention bolt under the battery tray slip out of its slot. U will have to take the whole battery tray out.
Also didnt need an OBD2 memory saver during battery change, the auxiliary battery carried the settings even when I had it fully disconnected for 12 hours.
