Hi everyone. Long time reader, first time poster. I have a 2016 c300 with the driver assistance package (option code 997). I want to swap the stock grille for the diamond style c43 grille. I was able to successfully do it on a past c300 but that car had an illuminated star and not the radar star that this one has with the drivers assistance package. Has anyone with this option had success swapping grilles? I don’t know if the factory star will fit into an aftermarket grille. I attached pictures below of what my current grille looks like as well as what I want to swap over to.
When I purchased mine they only asked me if I have a 360° degree camera. Mine don't have this camera. But they did not ask me about Driver assistance package. If your car has a camera at the front that you need a grill with a hole to fit this camera. I recommend OEM. I was looking at your and it looks like mine before I made the swap to C43 diamond grill as seen bellow: Before After Pic 1 After Pic 2
