Hey guys new here. Tried searching for this everywhere but can’t find it.


so I’m trying to install a cool air intake on my c300. Everywhere I’ve seen this done the MAF wire has a white clip on it. Mine doesn’t seem to have it. I tried for an hour trying to get this thing disconnected. Am I missing something simple here.




I didn’t want to break something and end up screening myself more. If it is missing a part then what can I do to get this thing off? I see a small metal tab on the back which I know some come that way but it’s really not accessible unless I take the entire top off including the pipe which is nearly impossible because the wire is connected and I feel like I’ll break it.

 

You need to use a clip tool that has the pick end and you can lift up the lock and it will slide out. Yes, you are missing the white lock that helps left the slide locker.
