Don’t you find them distracting when driving? Back in the day, I had a Saab that had a button that turned off all the interior lights except the speedometer. I mean everything. Radio, climate, everything. I know ambient lights are in right now. Obviously, I have them on my car. But they are away from the line of sight when driving.

They are not bright enough to distract me. The screen is actually brighter. When i speed i turn the screen off.
