Left side (right hand drive) mirror bent right back. Straightened to correct position. Mirror adjustment and lights work But mirror no longer folds?, is there an easy fix?

I had same problem on CLA but the problem was fixed when bending the mirror back to right alignment.

See if the mirror motor works by pressing by locking/unlocking. The mirror might be just out of alignment among the motor notch and just need to bend it forward and backward. Or that you broke the notch that moves on the motor.

Try the fold button on door switch.

If the outer case is removed are you able to see the bottom inside around the motor that opens and closes?

I haven't disassembled my mirror yet, but I do remember watching a video within this year from a member here doing so for replacement outer case/mirror assembly/housing.

If I can find the post, I will link it up.
