W205 wheel & tire size

Hi, Ive been lurking on these forums for awhile now and I have a 2016 c300. What size tires do i need to buy if i want 18x8 wheels? And since im on a budget, can i buy the tires first and run my 17inch wheels? Im very new to all this so I apologize beforehand for my lack of knowledge

you obviously can’t run 18 inch tires on 17 inch wheels.

Your best bet is to save first. Save for the wheels you want so that you don’t regret buying a wheel set. You can’t fit a 17” tire onto an 18” wheel; no amount of stretching could do that.

I think op was talking about 18 inch tires on 17 inch wheels. Either way, it can’t be done.
