My key got damaged and it says key not detected. I am unable to move the car and a wrecker is unable to move it because of its position. The dealer here (not located in the US) wants almost 1500usd for a key replacement. Can i purchased one of those used key on ebay and swap the inside?

Dont you have another key? Did you try taking the key to a specialist and ask him to make you a copy.
I got the car with only one key. Is there any place i can send it to be cloned? I think the part on top which is missing contains piece of the board
From the picture it can be seen the coil from the board is broken, who knows what else is missing.
These key fobs can work without the coin battery, so I guess they work inductively and the coil is a key part of the security along with the flashing. It may be beyond repair unless you have all the missing parts and able to find an electronic wizard.
$1500 is assault. Basically ransom because the car is useless/door stopper now. Here, they asked for @$450 ( still too much) and easier if the car is on-site with ownership documentation.
We have 2 keys for each car. If you are able to find something reasonable consider having two keys.

You can repair the key. Buy an used key and transplant the ICs to the key. Otherwise, it’s a nightmare. Only dealership can program the FSB4 key. Don’t waste time with locksmiths. Dealership also need a working key to program a new one but you have none. So it will cost a lot more.
