key not detected error

Hi there,

Hope someone could help please. Has anyone encountered the error below and what was the fix? Both my keys are not working, so I can't use the push start button. However, I can start/drive the car by manually inserting the keyfob. I do have a new car battery and I've also replaced the battery in the keyfob, but still, the push start isn't working.

NOTE: I've done some electrical work (added an android screen to my W205), so I disconnected the negative terminal for about 3-4 hours whilst the work is being carried out. When I connected the battery terminal, that is when the keyfob isn't working properly. All other functions are working as expected. Only this push start and error below are the ones giving me a headache.

When you replaced your screen your removed your central console. This must have got the key sensor found under the right cup holder somehow loose. Try removing the central console and see if something wrong with the sensor.
