I have recently bought a second hand c class 350e 2018, 20,000 miles on.
I was wondering if anyone could help me with a few questions I have,
I recently got a massage saying that I was out of fuel and only had e mode, but I was still showing just under a 1/4 of a tank of petrol. I had no charge left in e mode so I was stuck in the middle of the road so I switched the car off and then back on again and with no warning of low fuel and it run fine for a few more miles to the filling station..
Seems to be running fine now, Why showing 1/4 of a tank if its that low??

Under quarter tank is low fuel. The car gave you a notice specialy when it realized that you don't have electric power at all. I never go below half its bad for my engine specialy the injection system.

The C350e has a fuel tank that needs to be explicitly depressurized, never seen that on another car. I wonder if that has something to do with it?
I have not come across this issue though and have always run the tank really to one bar before re-filling.
