Alignment/Camber Questions

I admittedly don't know much about alignment specs so I wanted to pick the brain of someone far more well-versed than I. I have a 2017 W205 C300 Sport/AMG Line (18") and I just had Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4's tires put on my car. For what it is worth, I've had a couple of alignments done in the last 2 years with run flat tires and never was informed of any issues. Today I was informed that my car must have been in some sort of collision due to my camber being off spec and the shop recommended installing new lower control arms/correction bearings (quoting upwards of ~$1,000). My car seems to drive well enough and I haven't noticed any issues/ veering / pulling etc, granted I live in NYC and roads are pretty terrible here.

I've tried doing a search online but I'm unable to look up the spec allowances for my car and wanted to ask one of you with access to such information if you could help me out as well as help me interpret this diagnostic before I move forward with this work- my vin is 55SWF4KB0HU203867 . From my layman's point of view my car is pretty out of spec and I should get it rectified. I just wanted to get an opinion on how pressing this is and what a ball park price for this kind of work should cost.

Below is a screen shot of what their diagnostic reported:

In all honesty those camber specs dont seem to be that bad...these car have negative camber dialed in by design from the factory and it ot adjustable. One can argue that the two front tires should have less variance between the two readings but again nothing to drastic in my opinion. If car drives fine just keep on truckin and save yourself a boat load of coin.

Thank you for your insight. I ended up taking my car to a more reputable shop after I was having vibration/shaking due to bad balancing. I suspect the initial garage did a crummy alignment and balancing to try and sell me that camber kit.

You mentioned that you were getting some vibrations? Could you describe where you're feeling it? It looks like it ended up being a wheel balancing issue?

I ask because I started to notice some vibrations in my driver's footwell. Car is driving pretty straight and the vibrations are very minimal. I just can't remember if it was there when I first purchased the car.

Also, how are the new Michelin Pilot Sport tires? I'm curious if the ride became softer after moving away from run flats.

When tires are unbalanced the weight of the car is not evenly distributed and you will get vibrations in the the floor of the car as well as causing the vehicle to shake or wobble over bumps in the road. If you are getting excessive vibrations in a car that seems to be driving well otherwise, you probably need to get the wheels balanced.

Conventional tires (non-runflats) are night and day compared to runflats. It’s an entirely new car. I love these tires.

Thanks! I was planning on putting some Pilot Sports after my Continental MOEs are done.
I'm looking forward to seeing how much better the ride gets.
