Fuel Filler Cap Locked

2017 Mercedes-Benz C300
Fuel Filler Cap Locked
When I stopped for fuel this evening, my fuel filler cap would not open. It appears to have remained locked with the car completely unlocked. I have read through numerous threads on the pages for older models but cannot locate the items they are discussing. Please assist with any information possible.
