Main Comand freezing, rebooting, etc
Hello all,
I think this is already solved but putting here just in case it can help someone.
Bought a w205 c200 2020 a couple of months ago, last couple of weeks, the main comand would freeze or reboot for no apparent reason and at totally random times.
I searched the forum and in general anything I could find on the internet, but nothing seemed to help in my case.
Called the local MB dealer to arrange for an appointment, the first thing he told me is "disable live traffic and call me if it continues to freeze"
Its been two days now and the comand has not frozen, anyone else have a similar situation?

PFL205.064 with M276.823 (Oil pump solenoid defeated)
It does sound like a software issue, hopefully during the appointment, they update the software for you and should fix the problem.
To answer your question though, no I don't have this issue, however the COMAND version in my vehicle is older (hardware wise not just software). Hardware wise NTG 5.5 while I have NTG 5.0. Either way, I doubt a software update won't be able to fix the issue with your unit unless it is actually broken of defective.

Yes, i think he thinks he got rid of me, little does he know i'm going to get that update.
Switching things off isn't an option in my opinion.![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Your theory is correct if there is an update and your dealer is keeping it away from you which I doubt.
It is worth noting that he told you what to do and the screen stopped freezing.

I had mine changed under warranty. The Comand unit lasted 1year + only in my car. First it showed your symptoms then the software was" updated" by MB because they could not find anything wrong till it DIED .Reluctantly they have to replace it under warranty(second visit ). If you search ebay for a replacement you will find where they are made and very cheaply too. see my post for part # https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...ir-issues.html
