I am new to forum. I have just owned 2019 Mercedes C180 (Station Wagon).
I have a question.
My Auto Trunk lid from the Car key works well; it fully opens and automatically closes the lid with one click from car key.
But, when I use the auto lid button (next to driver seat) it fully automatically opens the lid, but when I try to close it, it doesn't automatically full close.
It closes whatever I press the button, when I don't press it, it stops.
Is this a normal behavior not to "close" automatically from the interior?
Yes, that's normal. Have to press and hold it. Safety measure in case somebody gets caught by the trunk and screams in pain, or something in the trunk is getting crushed, so it stops when you let go since you are not standing behind the car to make sure nothing gets caught by the closing trunk.
