Water and electrical problems

Hello all,

First post on here and in need of some advice.

My 2015 c250 has more than a few electrical problems at the moment.
It started a few weeks ago when I got in the car and was greeted with the "parking brake inoperative message"
The parking brake does work when I turn the ignition off (auto box) but not on the dashboard switch.
I have also lost my heated seats, occasionally some command controls from the centre console, sometimes the engine fan stays on, and once or twice I have lost power steering, abs, traction control, and pretty much every warning light has come on.
These faults, apart from the parking brake and heated seats, come and go.
The only thing I have noticed, and I think it has happened around the same time, is that my o/s rear footwell is very wet.
I am thinking that water has got into the electrics somewhere but haven't got a clue where to start?
Any help would be very much appreciated!

Has the car been out in the rain before the issues?
check the headliner and see if u can find a leak.
it’s not much help, but I had water leaking issue with my ‘19 c43. Cracked drain line & bad grommet was finally found & fixed.

If the weather permits try running water over the car for 10-15 min to see where the water is coming from.
my first time finding water the headliner was dry but I put my foot in a puddle
