Stop Start not working
Hi all,
I own a 2018 C-class w205, I've had it for just over 3 years and it's done 24k on the clock.
For a while now i've noticed the start stop function is not working in my car.i Get the yellow A symbol with a line across it but that's about it. even after a long drive.
When I first bought the car this function was working correctly without any problems.
I'm not sure if it could be my main battery, as in the mercedes me app, the status of the battery always says partially charged.
I've also got a dashcam and Ghost immoboliser installed, not sure if this might have anything to do with this?
Any ideas why it might not be working?

My hold function is not working also. Could the Auxillary battery still be at fault even without a warning on the dash?
i've ordered a C-TEK battery charger to charge the main battey to see if the battery is at fault.

It started out with the S&S logo being yellow and occasionally green but when it activated, the engine would shut down but restart instantly and then the light would not come on for a while (it took several months for the light to go out). And the HOLD function did not work anymore. It was the main battery for me.

I confirmed this because when the service advisor called me to tell me my main battery had failed testing and they would replace it for $530, lol I declined. When I picked up my car the service advisor reminded my Start/Stop would not work until main battery was replaced, and in fact it did not function until I replaced it (Pep Boys $225 - exceeded OEM stats)

Well it seems like the main battery as everyone saying.
I did put the car on a trikle charger this evening but won't know until tomorrow when I go to work.
The staus in the Mercedes Me app also showing 'charged ' instead of partially charged.
