C350e
C300de Vs C350e

Quick question, are these 2 versions rear bumper interchangable, I know all bumper except C63 are interchangeable in w205 c classes but are the plug in charger sections in the same place, they seem so from pictures but hopefully someone knows for sure.

Thanks

This is a C350e rear bumper non AMG

And

This is a c300de AMG version

Thanks

The part numbers will be different, as for comparing actual size however you need to measure it. I would think it does fit though.
I believe you could ask forum member Keith66 for assistance since they did something similar to what you want to do.

I don't have any specific knowledge of the "e" models, but I cannot see any logical reason why MB engineers would create a different charging receptacle for models that share the same chassis but have different bumper covers. To make the charging receptacles different just doesn't make economical manufacturing sense. The bumper cover itself is just a big flexible piece of plastic, so I would think that even if the receptacle covers may be shaped slightly different, the receptacle should be the same and in the same position.

So, I don't know based on facts, only by my opinion... which I think either bumper cover should work.

Good luck! (BTW, I'm digging your new front bumper! )

HI, thanks for your response, it did end up fitting exactly perfect, so if this thread helps anyone else, and has a C350e or C300de basic model and want to swap the rear bumper to an AMG version, then they are both interchangeable, so if you can't find a C350e version like I couldn't then it seems other hybrid c classes will all fit eachother. Inside the charging flap is a little different but still fits perfectly

Hi, I was searching everywhere for it and for that reason I couldn't actually find a c350e AMG rear bumper, but I did find this one which was for a different hybrid model but still fits, I found it on eBay from a store that sells car parts here in the UK. but if you don't have any luck try looking for other hybrid models as they do seem to fit.
