C200 feels like skidding on bumps!
Hey fellas,
I've recently bought a beautiful 2016 C200 W205 with only 40k on the clock. Runs smoothly at all speeds with no strange feel of steering or tracking.
The only thing that bugs me is that when I hit a bump with speeds over 40, sometimes it feels like the rear end skids! I don't feel anything in the steering wheel though. It's just something that even my passenger feels too.
The tyres are 225/45 R18 95Y XL. My previous Merc had 16" tyres, so my guess is that tyres cause this. Any ideas or thoughts? I really appreciate that.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean, but if it is only something that happens when the suspension is compressed, I would look at the coil springs, struts, rear suspension bushings, and alignment to make sure all is good and within specs.
