Timing chain
Hi All,
Thank you for having me in your group. I have a mercedes c200 1.8 petrol that ive owned for 6 months. The engine light came on recently and my mechanic is saying it needs a timing chain replaced. I trust my guy as Ive had him for years. The car only has 100000 kms on it. Does anyone know what it costs roughly to repair?

If the timing change is due to be replaced I'd not delay. If the chain can jump a tooth or if it breaks... Oh my.
