I have a 2017 A205.
The washer have suddenly stopped running for more than a few seconds (see video). All three jets are the same. I can hear the pump making noise and I'm sure the system is full of fluid. I removed the plastic cover under the bonnet where the hose runs but cannot actually remove any parts of the hose to check the pressure (maybe I just have to pull harder).
Is it likely to be the pump, even though it making noise? Replacing the pump looks like a fiddly job but do-able.
take off screenwasher pump. U will see rubber gasket from where u took off pump itself. Take that gasket out, it will be like gasket also filter . Cut the end or clean it and it will work again. Had two w205 and both had same problem.
I just ended up cuting peace of the ruber filtering part out and leaving just ruber gasket alone. Never had issue again
Ruber gasket will look like this when taken out and
Cut where i marked.
Also, your washer tank is on passenger side (if uk) at the front wing. However you dont need to take off wing, all u need to do is loosen wheel/arc mud guard and you can acces screenwasher pump. And pull out whole pump. Do not try to pull hose out of pump as you will break it. Its very delicate connection between pump and hose. Idk why mercedes done like that. But you are safe if you pull pump out of washer tank as its straight forward. Hope that helps.
