Rear View Camera replacement problem, won't calibrate
Hello MBWorld family !
I've got recently a W205 2018 prefacelift that has the 360° camera system, and the rear view camera wasn't working. I've purchased a new (which is working) rear view camera with the exact same reference number and HW version. Installed it and tried using Xentry to get it calibrate, the only error I've got is the camera itself, asking to be recalibrated. But whenever I try to recalibrate, it just gives me an error message that the camera cannot be recalibrated. Checked everything else and it's working as expected, got voltage in the camera so it's not a dead not working camera.
Any idea on how to get it to work please ? Should I ask my local dealer about it and tell them the whole story ?
