2018 C300
Auto Start/Stop & Spark Plugs
2018 C300, usually turn off the auto/start stop. Left it on, think I had a misfire, 44k miles. Check engine light on.
Is this why Mercedes recommends 50k spark plug replacement? For the auto start/stop?
Hoping to run it a few cycles and see if the light turns off. Anyone have any experience with this?

I can't see how the stop/start system would have any bearing or effect upon the spark plugs, so it's unlikely the two are related.
The best plan of action is to retrieve the code(s) that triggered the CEL to give you a better idea of what is failing.
