2021 C300
2021 C300 4matic oil change capacity
Just did oil change #1. Manual says the 4matic takes 6.3 quarts. That amount shows right between the minimum and maximum levels on the dash when you call up oil level. Is that there intention? Before the change it came up to max level ?

I noticed the exactly the same thing. I’m at 1/2 now. Tech says it’s normal.

Thanks for the reply. I'll add .2 quart more to make it a total of 6 1/2 quarts. Still strange that it was at the MAX level straight from the dealer new

Note that the 4matic tales less oil. I would guess that the factory doesn’t adjust for each car that is 4matic. As long as it falls in the range, they are happy. Just my opinion. Just like my Acura MDX hybrid. Different engine. Many stories of it being overfilled by the dealer.

Good point, that could be the issue here, thanks for the reply. I'll keep the level at 6.3 quarts.
