W205 64 colour ambient lights kit not working
I was wondering if someone could help me, I have a mercedes w205 2016 and I already had the standard 3 colour ambient kit, I just bought the 64 colour ambient kit and already had installed it to the doors but I have been trying to make the ambient lights turn on but they won't, the kit did not include obd connector because I had already the standard kit but I can't figure out how to make the ambient light work when I don't have obd and I can't find any help on the Internet

I have figured out some things, i did manage to make make the ambient lights work kinda... I found the wiring under the drivers feets instead of the passenger, but the lights only work on the front doors but not the back doors and I don't know why if you have any suggestions I whould be great full to hear you out (:
Yes that is right. The brown plug needs to go on the driver's side CANBUS instead of the passenger side.
For the rear doors I took out the plug, which was in socket 6, connected it to the female socket on the LED harness and plugged the male socket of the LED harness into socket 6 on the door panel. If it doesn't work for you then disconnect the battery, reconnect the LED harness to another socket in the same way as above, reconnect the battery, start the car and check if the LED lights come on.
As long as you have the original plug connected to the car through the LED harness, you will not get any errors. Just make sure you disconnect the car battery before trying other sockets on the rear door panel.
