2017 c200 W205
2017 C200 exhaust fart/burble
Hey does anyone else get the fart/burble noise when driving hard in sports + mode? It’s a 2017 c200 and I didn’t think these things did that. It’s booked for a ecu recall and I’m worried they might take that sound away 🤣 anyone else have this and did the ecu recall affect it?

Yes it did before the update even on non AMGs, in one of MercBenzKing's videos, the sound was very evident but I forgot which video was it. If you like this sound, you don't want to update it.

Mine makes this sound on S+. I did not do the update as I installed Brabus power box. This sound became louder when I installed Armytrix sound system including its down pipe.

I find the sweet spot for getting the sound is shifting around 4k RPM.

is this after the ecu recall? The recall has something to do with the alternator catching fire but requires them to fix it thru an ecu update.

My Canadian 2015 has never had an ECU recall notice. Is this a US thing or a model year specific recall?
