Loud and dramatic, non-consensual shift from R to P when backing out of garage...
When I back out of my garage, and the rear wheels dip down at the natural edge of the concrete, THREE TIMES in the last year, my C300 has thrown itself loudly and dramatically into Park.
Then, when I put it into R or D, it loudly and dramatically shifts into the appropriate gear. And it usually only happens when neighbors are outside, just so I look like an absolute idiot.
This only happens in this singular scenario but scares the ever living sh*t out of me every time... any ideas?
