2017 c200 W205

W205 engine noise

Hey guys so is this engine sound normal? I hear a knocking noise behind the lifter noise. The car runs perfectly and only has 36,000 klms. Any help would be appreciated.

Difficult to say but I once had a car that sounded like this after the head gasket had gone. If you open the radiator cap (NOTE - ONLY DO THIS WHEN THE ENGINE IS COLD) does the water 'rush back in' or is there any creamy white type substance on the rad cap ?

So I managed to locate where the sound is coming from. It’s coming from this part here at the back of the engine. Does anyone know what this part is called?

that is the high pressure fuel pump.

High pressure fuel pump

I have a C250 2013 with 116,000 miles. The pressure pump fail and be lining in piston 1 and crack the cilinder. The dealer notified me that yesterday and they refused a doing my guarantee. They just offer to me a replace the motor for 15,000. How the guarantee protect me?
