Command screen cuts out and refreshes every 2 minutes
I have a 2018 CLA 250 and after 2 years of ownership, the command screen began to cut out every 1 min and 30 seconds. After approximately 20 seconds, it turned back on and went through the cycle again, continuously. I took it to a Mercedes Benz dealership and after over 3 weeks of analysis and trying to re-program it, they made the determination that the command screen needed to be replaced. I ordered a new screen (through them) and now after 3 days with the dealer technician, they are claiming to have an issue (again) with re-programming it. This makes me wonder if they actually diagnosed it correctly the first time. Are there any other potential root causes that could be preventing the technician from being able to re-program the commend screen. Wiring, connectors etc.? I spent almost $3,000 to have them order a replacement and install and my confidence is beginning to diminish that they are going to successfully resolve the issue.

Did you replace your Command radio? If you were near me I could test your system for you but if not as to sit with the tech when they run the test to show you what is happening. You may need to speak to the Maintenance manager.
