Question Keyless Go Ignition Button S205

I've just bought my car. 2.0 C200 AMG Line (Premium Plus) G-Tronic+ Euro 6 (s/s) 5dr 2016 (66 reg).
I'm trying to find out whether it is compatible for a Keyless Go Ignition button. Called the local MB dealer.... says there's no such button.
However, after doing some research I've even found the part number MERCEDES-BENZ 221-545-07-14-64
But still can't find anywhere whether my car is compatible or not.
How can I find out? I called the dealer back and he denies it's existence... told me people can anything on the internet these days.... frustrating....

If your car didn't come with it originally you'd need to retrofit not only the button itself but also a few antennas around the car and code it for it to work, won't find a dealer that will do it but there are kits available to do it, afterwards you'd need to change your key fobs as well for which you'd need a better dealer than the one you spoke with.

Grab a datacard here: https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...atacard-5.html
and see if your option has Keyless Start, even vehicles without Keyless Go, Keyless start might be included as an option in a package or standard. Keyless Go is mostly (always optional either through a standalone option or package though)

That button doesn't do anything other than covering the slot where the key goes, so you can push it instead. That's most likely why the dealer gave you the answer they did. There are even better looking aftermarket versions like the one depicted below that replace the OEM one. It's just a plug for a hole essentially. If you want keyless go, you need to retrofit the whole system as mentioned above. You need the module and everything and as said new key fobs.
