My 2015 C300 which has very low miles of 35,000 started giving wind noise at low speed 30+mph. its like whistle noise. I covered the gap between roof and panoramic sunroof with painters' tape and the noise reduced significantly. Is there a DIY fix to get rid of the noise or take it to the dealer?
I did further check and found some pieces of plastic which looks like clips. Took it to the dealer. $200 for diagnosis and probably $2500 to $3000 to replace roof rails. Any other suggestions? Painter's tape is working fine so far around the sunroof driver side corner.
Found more plastic pieces and found the driver side clips holding the sunroof is broken into pieces. pretty much cleaned the debris. Any help with the part number for these and any videos on how to replace this?
