main entertainment screen freezes and restarts all the time
Hi, im new to this.
Issue: I have w205(estate 2015 c250) , got it back from garage , first day it was ok, next day screen at evening startet: freezing ---> slowly dying (when pixels one by one dies) --> restart (and loop starts again). It just does that constantly. SOmetimes when for example car is in reverse and screen restarts in shows reverse cam screen and freezes, so it is either warning message which comes after mercedes logo or reverse cam but both cases just freezes. As well things like "auto climate" turns off, etc as i suppose they are controllet with same system.
Note: Car was in service because start/stop - hold - parking functions disengages after 1 min of driving and never reengages again until car is turned off, and turned on. Telling that because they got it first time and told me that attemptet software update (entertainment was working after that) but it did not help so it went to dealer specialist (after month or 2 as i had hollidays and there was festive period in middle) and they did something, but if software was already up to date....it should not be software thing.
Honestly im at this moment furious as dealership can't fix ongoing issue since september (hold, start/stop,etc) (2022) and after getting car from service where i got told "ITS FIXED" it took me 1 minute driving to turn around, come back and say it is not and even worse i got car in worse state than before ;D issue is freezing happened day later, so i can't claim it wasnt working when i received car it could be as well bad coincidence/
Solutions have tried: Found one article in this forum about freezing screen, but solution did not work (was to disable TA but nothing happens). Found another online with "eject" button hold to hard reset...nope.
