I still have to do my front doors but it's to cold outside to do it right now. I also learned that there is a better way to do the back of the seats unlike in Flexx's video. I wish I noticed this way before I pulled out my hair trying to get those damn big LED lighting parts behind the seat. If you do plan on doing this mod, place one part at the side top part of the seat and pull the LED step and holder close to the placement area. Then do the other side the same but it will be tight so pulling the previously placed side to assist will help. Hope this all make sense because if you do it the other way, the way Flexx and I did it.. you will never get the part back out once it's in. I also know there is a tool to remove the back of the seat but from what I have read all over the internet from techs, is that the bracket always break on the back of the seats and they cost about $300-400 to replace.
Just take your time, use a pry tool and pull only enough to force the light producer into the cavity to the back of the seat.

I will keep updating if issues arise
the coding took them a little longer than they had thought but that is not a big deal
the only strange thing so far is that “12” is full power for the lights
They are as bright as they were before but if I go above 12 they turn off.

This came out great! I admit the whole time I thought this was to add the ability for multi-color, like the console one color and doors another... I guess I wasn't computing the "animation" part in your title, lol.
Looks cool, great job! 👍

There’s a few variables in play here. There is different codes I didn’t really know what they were and which ones will work on our cars
and the led vents were added so they couldn’t guarantee how they would respond

Can you show me a picture of your color settings in the COMAND menu when you get the chance?

It’s a quick pic I knew I had
I may call then this week. To see if the doors and council can be one color and the vents another. I think that’s the glc combo.
bc if I turn off animation they’re all the same color.
