Oh what the heck was it the infamous Karen? Hopefully she pays for the damages?
She never got out of the car.
Her stupid angry husband jumped out and said "why did you have to hit the car" and "I don't care if you have a camera". (They went down a one way, the wrong way)
Then he magically claimed her arm was broken from a less than 5 mph impact to her left side bumper.
Cops mentioned state is no fault state, whatever that means. I got a "crash exchange" piece of paper.
I need a new bumper cover and license plate holder.

Darn I am sorry to hear that man looks like you met the infamous Karen : ( if they were going the wrong way. How was the damage though, it hopefully wasn't cracked and just a dent? Can you share pictures of the poor thing and let us forum members assess the damages/injuries? Hopefully not but if you do need a bumper are you going to try something different like aftermarket or the newer style ones, I don't know maybe something like what forum member Keith66 did if you prefer that?

The bumper is scratched and cracked behind the license plate and the silver trim at the bottom has a dent. Not too bad. No visible other damage i can see.
hopefully the radar behind the star is ok.
I've taken off the bumper (plastic) before, so i can replace it myself. I will keep it oem.
Maybe swap out the diamond grille again with a fresh one (go GT) or if anything newer is available (like the new c class star grille).

So happy to hear you got your ride paid off also that your spinning a negative into a positive. Can you let me know where you get the new bumper and I'm assuming the chrome trim under the bumper? Mine are getting pretty dinged up from road rash and looking to replace it as well.

I'm just 5 more payments away and I will own my car Free and Clear and can't wait. I never would have thought that I would payout a car I purchase New and delivered and not a dealership lot.
I am thinking about getting another car, but because of they things .. I'm not gonna pay any higher interest just to drive a newer model beside.. here in Canada, MB is still facing issues related to chip shortage. Like I said before, I will not purchase a car and wait for the dealership to forget that they will need to install a module or two to get all my features that Id want.

Wait a couple of years and get a shark eye 2023 CPO class for $25k. Plus interest rates are crazy.

Well, that was a nightmare of a 1000 clips.
If anyone has to do this, you will need a rivet gun. There are six rivets on each side, but only four need to be drilled out and replaced. Luckily I had a rivet gun handy.
