- Replace roof piece help needed.
The Mercedes I purchased (2016 C300) has a sun discolored black piece between the windshield and the pana roof - runs the width of the roof. Can anyone tell me how to remove this piece.
The wrapper guys said they could match the roof so I tried to cover it. it now looks like an orange peeled mess, so I guess that I will need to replace it.
Any help appreciated.

This is a common issue and that panel is not simple to remove, so it gets very expensive to remove and replace.
Not worth the cost to replace or paint IMO, unless your car is a unique color. I suggest sanding it smooth and vinyl wrapping it. You'll spend WAY less and it will look fine.
